The lands around Hudatro are wild, and full of dangers, with Orcs being only one of those. As a consequence, the city is surrounded by a strong stone wall with multiple towers, which are constantly manned to look out for trouble. The two rivers block off the north, east and south-east, and the south-west gate is the most heavily guarded. It is also the only land gate. The city has two bridges, a wide stone bridge over the [[Helnes]] that leads northwards and a wooden bridge over the [[Dushomer]] towards the east, each of which leads to another gate.
