Batall is a male god associated with fortune or fate, and in some religions with luck in general, the fortune of battle or the concept of truth.
 
In the Faith of Ikoyo, however, Batall is a pure god of war and battle, while his eternal concubine, [[Barila]], is the goddess of fortune and truth.
