Hiemegi Mine

The Hiemegi Mine is a complex of four different mines near the city of Hiemegium. Iron, copper, silver, tin and lead are the main ores mined here, but a good amount of gemstones are also found.

Unlike most mines, most entrances of the Hiemegi Mine complex are not outside, but within the city. They used to be at the edge of it back when Hiemegium was a small mining town, but with more mines opening and the population increasing, the city grew around the mines.

The mine is quite deep while not extending much to the sides. Its deepest point today is estimated to be almost 600m below the entrance.
