Laba is a stone castle built across the [[Dramyri]] river, on stone arches spanning across, much like a bridge. The castle can close off the river with iron chains and is built to sustain attacks from both land and water.
 
A toll is collected from any boats passing through, and larger sailing vessels need to lower their masts to pass underneath.
 
The village of [[Laba]] lies directly to the north of the castle.
