Laba is a stone castle built across the Dramyri river, on stone arches spanning across, much like a bridge. The castle can close off the river with iron chains and is built to sustain attacks from both land and water.

A toll is collected from any boats passing through, and larger sailing vessels need to lower their masts to pass underneath.

The village of Laba lies directly to the north of the castle.
