The town used to have around 1400 inhabitants and was known for its beautiful temple at the market square as well as being a local trade hub. It was besieged for 3 weeks until a group of traitors opened the western gate and the [[Fonticia]] forces set the town ablaze. A thousand people are said to have perished, with the remaining either fleeing or hiding in basements and sewers until it was all over.
