The Wachetbury is the main river of southern Schap, flowing through Schober, Efen, Kotigheim, Schaperach County and Kelden.

The river originates in the Eirkadi Mountains of Alheimia.

The total length of the Wachetbury is 342 km. About a third of it is navigable by large boats, and another 150 km by smaller boats. The first 60 or 70 km are a fast-flowing mountain river with several rapids and small waterfalls and can be used by boats only in the parts inbetween those.

Despite its importance to trade, no major cities are located along the Wachetbury.
