The adventure is concluded (or not, see below) with a downtime for the players. Depending on where they ended up, their options may be better or worse.
In Lergovia, most services and craftsmen are available.
In Alesia, if they brought Elaine back, Jacques will be all too happy to give them room and feed them for a few days. They can learn more about his family and during their stay his wife will become slightly better, to the point where she can get out of bed for the most important activities.
Downtime will be short in either case, as Elaine is getting into trouble - again.
If the party brought Elaine back to her father, she will play nice for a few days, but is only waiting for an opportunity. One morning (after the party has concluded their downtime activities), very early she will escape again and run into the forest.
The party (and Marlon family) suddenly hear Elaine's scream from the forest edge in the late afternoon. Let them roll for mental (perception). Anyone with a full success can spot Elaine being dragged into the forest from the edge of the road. Anyone with a critical success can see that she is being dragged off by a furry creature twice as tall as a man, but they cannot make out details (it could be a bear, or a werewolf for all they know).
If the party somehow ends the adventure in another place, having Elaine with them, such as in the Convent, the same thing will happen.
Jacques, his wife and everyone else will press the party to help, immediately, if they don't do so by themselves.
If the party lets Elaine stay with the entertainers, they will take their downtime in Lergovia. The entertainers will play two shows there, as planned, and then move on.
One day later, Geralt comes running back, out of breath as if he was running for the past hour (he was), and will find the adventurers. He will tell them that during their afternoon rest, a werewolf stormed out of the forest, and while all the entertainers were scrambling for cover or frozen in fear, grabbed Elaine and escaped with her into the forest. He begs the adventurers to help find her, quickly.
Geralt and a few onlookers who overheard the tale will press the party to help, immediately, if they don't do so by themselves.
Geralt will ascertain them that it was a werwolf, he is adamant and very certain.
