Volgen is a large town in central Vericum and the capital of Mea County. It is located at the confluence of the Kordera and Zakyan rivers and is a river trade hub with a Road Warden garrison and regional courthouse. The town has a low stone wall and is surrounded by forests, with grasslands nearby to both the north and south.
The city has a port which is connected with the interior through several canals, giving the entire city a maritime flair despite it being almost 300 km from the ocean.
