Athega is an extended temple on a cliffside overlooking Lake Erisai. It is located in Sumegaidau County (Vericum) and used to have a population of around 120 people. It was raided by Mahuman Hereticals in the spring of 67 AV, killing about half of the population. With only one road out of the village and cliffs all around, escape was hard to accomplish.
Despite being located in Faith of Ikoyo lands, the temple itself and the village are followers of the Faith of Nesreyrar. Sumegaidau County has a considerable minority of these, which allowed the temple to exist and be left in peace since its founding in 14 AV.
