Ruins of Kotera

Kotera used to be a town in southern Efen, but it was razed in 24 AV and never rebuilt.

The town used to have around 1400 inhabitants and was known for its beautiful temple at the market square as well as being a local trade hub. It was besieged after the Battle of Kotera had been lost. The siege lasted for 3 weeks until a group of traitors opened the western gate and the Fonticia forces set the town ablaze. A thousand people are said to have perished, with the remaining either fleeing or hiding in basements and sewers until it was all over.
