Monarchy

A feudal government with a king at the top, usually a hereditary title. The king rules until death or abdication and the nobles of the realm are sworn to him and hold their lands as fiefs granted by the king, though the laws of the realm may prevent the king from arbitrarily taking or re-assigning lands.
