Like its neighbours, Layo was a victim in the [[Qualong Undead Invasion]] of 66 AV. Fortunately for its inhabitants, the undead arrived during the day and most of the villagers could escape into the forest. Half a dozen peasants perished and a few houses were damaged and fields trampled, but compared to its neighbours, Layo was lucky.
