Blaken Castle is a ruin overlooking the Sparte river and located near the Vericum-Hanzatia border, not far from the village of Haisel.
It used to be a border fortress defending Verepan from Anzaro, but it was ruined near the beginning of The Century of War and never rebuilt. Today, its walls have been reduced to rubble and only two towers and the ground floor of its keep remain.
It is rumoured that its basement is largely intact and is used occasionally as hideout for bandits or goblins.
