Toran is small farming village in Akingea in Palan with a population of about 350.

Toran is a small farming village nestled in the rolling hills of medieval Akingea. The villagers of Toran are known for their hardworking and resilient spirit, having persevered through centuries of harsh winters and unpredictable harvests. The fertile land surrounding the village is carefully tended to by the villagers, who grow a variety of crops including wheat, barley, and vegetables. The village is also home to a thriving herd of sheep, which provide wool for clothing and trade.

The village center is dominated by the stone temple of Kimdar, which has stood for over 500 years, is surprisingly large for a village this size and serves as the heart of the community. The village square, located just outside the church, is where villagers gather to trade goods and socialize. The villagers of Toran are also known for their skilled craftsmen, who produce everything from pottery to hand-forged tools. Most of these are made for use by the villagers themselves, but some if traded towards Mekezisi, the nearest city.

The houses in the village are made of sturdy stone and timber, with thatched roofs and small gardens. Life in Toran is simple but fulfilling, with a strong sense of community and a deep connection to the land. Despite the challenges of living in a simple farming village, the people of Toran are proud of their heritage and their ability to thrive in a harsh and unforgiving environment.
