Antioch is a province in the south-west of Vericum, bordering the dwarven realm of Hanzatia. Its easternmost part is crossed by the Imperial High Road, but most of Antioch is famously backwater and remote, with old customs common throughout.

Antioch has huge swamp and marsh regions, where peat is gathered. There are also grasslands (making up about half the province by area) and forests, making Antioch one of the more heterogeneous provinces.

The town of Mydoniane in the western parts of the province is its nominal capital, though it holds little actual power over the eastern parts. Earl Mortimus Ackos spends much of his time away from the small family castle in Mydoniane, travelling his lands. His barons have to host him during these travels, which for most means a considerable expense given that they rule over a few dozen villages at best.
